Congratulations to 100 Years at Great Lakes

Today marks the 100th anniversary of the Great Lakes Naval Training Station in North Chicago (NSGL). The installation features over 1,000 buildings and a force of 20,000 Sailors, Marines, Soldiers and DoD civilians who live and work in Lake County. While the base has always played an essential role in defense national defense, the station plays a similarly critical role for the economy of Northern Illinois and Lake County. We proudly thank all who have served our country so well!
